The commander of Guwiya-Garabulli frontline Mohammed Al-Aeib has said that the forces of the Government of National Accord ( GNA) have repelled an attempt to advance on the frontline by Khalifa Haftar’s militias in Khawliq area.
The commander told Libya Alahrar TV on Saturday that GNA forces had caused Haftar’s militias masisve losses in equipment and fighters before pushing them to their previous positions.
Meanwhile, a military source from the GNA said their forces had advanced on different areas on Matabbat Street of Khallatat frontline, while an uneasy calm descended on Wadi Rabea frontline in southern Tripoli.
