Libya’s Interior Minister turns to France for security cooperation

The Libyan Interior Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Fathi Bashagha has discussed with the French Minister of Armed Forces, Florence Parly, cooperation in security fields between the two countries.

The Libyan Interior Minister, who visited France for formal meetings with different officials, reviewed with Florence Parly in Paris issues of organized crime and terrorism as well as other issues of mutual interest.

Bashagha’s visit to France aims, according to a statement by the Interior Ministry, to better the capabilities of the Ministry’s personnel as per international standards to provide the necessary security services for Libyans.
