Libya’s Interior Ministry says supports protests, warns of infiltrators

The Libyan Interior Ministry of the Government of National Accord (GNA) has said that its security apparatuses have arrested some infiltrators in the protests of Tripoli in which many violations as gunfire against civilians have happened.

The Interior Ministry said in a statement Sunday that some outlaws tried to stir divisions among the protesters and the security personnel who were assigned to protect the protesters.

It added that security apparatuses of the Interior Ministry managed to recognize the infiltrators, who turned out to be not policemen or Interior Ministry personnel.

The Interior Ministry said that the Libyan people are all entitled to peaceful demonstrations and protests that are void of any forms of violence and sabotage to people’s and public properties.
