Libya’s PM convenes cabinet meeting in the south

For the first time since assuming office in March, the Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, convened on Sunday a cabinet meeting in Sabha, Libya’s south, to discuss the latest developments,. economic and services’ situation, and the spread of Coronavirus.

Dbeibah promised the attendees in the meeting in Sabha to go through with the plans to secure the Libyan south and to carry out emergency measures to provide the needed services to the region, which is acutely suffering from lack of electricity, medical care and shortage of cash at the banks, in addition to a number of issues.

Dbeibah and the Minister of Health talked about responding to the increasing number of Coronavirus cases in the south by taking urgent measures, partial shutdown and providing vaccines to as many people as possible to curb the speedy spread.
