Security and military forces under the Government of National Accord (GNA) in western Libya as well as the backup forces have welcomed the election of the new executive authority by the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF).
The security and military apparatuses said in a televised statement on Wednesday that they hoped the new executive authority would bring about a just and swift solutions for all Libyans.
They also reiterated the need to pave the way for holding elections on December 24, 2021 as planned according to the roadmap of the LPDF.
“We renew that we are firmly supporting now and forever the constants of February 17 revolution and the building of a civilian state that is governed by law and institutions as well as respects human rights under a fair and inclusive constitution.
