Menfi calls for unified Arab stance on Libya

The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, has called on the Arab League member states at the summit in Algeria to adopt a unified stance toward the situation in Libya, especially the exit of foreign mercenaries and forces.

Menfi added that the Geneva roadmap should be completed in full via holding parliamentary and presidential elections based on a clear constitutional basis.

“We also call for keep public funds away from the political conflict in Libya. We urge for ensuring fair and rationalized spending within state institutions.” Menfi added in his speech at the Arab League summit.

The 31st Arab League summit started on Tuesday in Algeria and will go on till late on Wednesday, with the participation of Arab nations, except for Syria.
