Menfi reviews Libya’s stability with US President, HoR Speaker

The United States (US) President, Joe Biden, and Speaker of the US House of Representatives (HoR), Nancy Pelosi, expressed Washington’s commitment to the constants that govern the relationship between Libya and the US in a meeting with the Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi at the White House on Saturday.

Menfi was at the White House with the leaders of the countries participating in the US-Africa summit, according to the media office of the Presidential Council.

Biden reaffirmed, in his meeting with Menfi, his country’s commitment to supporting the stability of Libya and the success of the peaceful transfer of power.

In separate meetings with US officials, Menfi discussed ways of achieving stability in Libya, and the Presidential Council’s vision for a solution for the political and economic issues in Libya.

Menfi participated in the second edition of the US-Africa summit, which focused on entrepreneurship and supporting stability and food security in Africa.
