The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, visited on Saturday Derna city in eastern Libya and discussed with the mayor of the city as well as a number of elders and dignitaries, in addition to civil societies and military commanders, the return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) to their houses in the city.
The media office of the Presidential Council said that Menfi also discussed the efforts of national reconciliation and transitional justice as well as the work of the newly-formed national reconciliation commission, in addition to vowing all forms of support to Derna in coordination with the Government of National Unity.
