The spokesman for the Sirte-Jufra Operations Room Abdelhadi Drah has confirmed that a military cargo plane (Antonov) bringing support for Khalifa Haftar and his militias has landed in Gardabiyah airbase in Sirte.
Drah said the Russian military cargo plane touched down in Sirte on Sunday and that it would probably deliver military back up for Haftar’s militias and mercenaries in the region.
Military cargo planes continue to land in Gardabiyah and Jufra airbases bringing support to Haftar’s militias despite the announcement of ceasefire by the Head of the Presidential Council and the Speaker of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives.
