The Misrata Council of Dignitaries and Wisemen said in a statement that tribes in Libya are just social references and not political ones, adding that this has been the norm since the past and will be so in the future.
The council said those who represent Libya and its people are the Government of National Accord (GNA) and its legitimate entities as per the Skhirat Agreement.
It also confirmed that all Libyans are well-connected as a people of this country, whether in the west, east or south.
The Misrata Dignitaries and Wisemen Council urged the GNA to inform the Public Prosecutor to issue arrest warrants of the members of the delegation that met El Sisi.
