The spokesman for the Libyan Army under the command of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Mohammed Gununu said they have no trust in the truce announced by Khalifa Haftar as his violations and shelling on civilian neighborhoods in Tripoli continue unabated.
The announcement of this false truce by Haftar at this time, Gununu said, aims to allow his backers to send him mercenaries and weapons from the UAE and Egypt.

He also said that GNA forces will continue to defend themselves and target any threats as they arise until they uproot the outlaw groups across the country.
