Pro-Haftar 5+5 JMC members demand blockade on oil exports

The five members representing Khalifa Haftar’s forces within the 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) have suspended their participation at the JMC meetings and efforts to continue with the ceasefire signed in October 2022.

The pro-Haftar 5+5 JMC members demanded in a statement on Saturday a blockade on oil exports from Libya and a shutdown of the coastal road, which connects east and west regions and has only been open for less than a year.

The members of the 5+5 JMC also called for stopping flights between east and west Libya.
