Qatar, Turkey voice support for Libya’s executive authority

The Qatari Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, reiterated Doha’s support for the new executive authority in Libya, saying it is a very positive step for Libyans.

Al-Thani said Thursday in a press conference with the Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, that Qatar would continue to support Libya to end the crisis and reach free and democratic elections by December 24.

Meanwhile, Cavusoglu reiterated Ankara’s support for the Libyan political process, expressing hope that the new executive authority would assume office soon without any troubles.
