Russia says Libyan political process shouldn’t exclude any party

The Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, has said that Libya’s political process should be comprehensive without exclusion of any party.

Bogdanov told Russia Today that his country supports Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi , adding that Moscow is with all Libyans across the country and supports the candidates who look for the security of the country, but he indicated that those candidates couldn’t move forward because there was a lack of commitment to holding election on December 24, 2021.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated that excluding parties from elections would only lead to the unrecognition of the areas or regions represented by the excluded candidates, eventually leading to unaccepted results.
