Russia’s Wagner mercenaries reposition toward Jufra airbase

A source from Al-Jufra confirmed to Libya Alahrar that Russia’s Wagner Group mercenaries had withdrawn from multiple military sites in Sokna towards the inside of Al-Jufra airbase.

The source explained on Sunday that the relocation process began four days ago, especially in Sokna, indicating that the most important military sites from which Wagner Group mercenaries withdrew were Al-Abkar (cows) project, the headquarters of the supply goods, the internal section of the air-conditioning and refrigeration institute, the city’s water tank and the administrative centers construction company, in addition to the Rawaga camp located on the road linking Wadan and Sirte.

The source also confirmed that some locations were not completely evacuated due to the continued transfer of military equipment.
