The House of Representatives (HoR) member, Abu-Bakr Saeid, accused the HoR president, Aguila Saleh, and his two deputies of exerting pressures on the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
“It isn’t only Aquila who dictates conditions, but also his first and second deputies have fears of losing powers,” Saeid posted on his official Facebook page. He added that “they are trying so hard to impose conditions on the government in exchange for holding a parliamentary session to grant it confidence.”
“I challenge all of them to deny what I said publicly,” he added.
Saied called on Dbeibah not to yield to these pressures and asked him to take the responsibility and choose technocrat patriotic youth if he wishes to fulfil his mission.
