Second civilian dies of injuries sustained from Haftar’s rocket attacks on southern Tripoli

The media adviser to Libya’s Health Ministry Ameen Al-Hashimi told Alahrar that the death toll of Khalifa Haftar militias’ shelling on Salah Al-Deen in southern Tripoli had risen to two as a second civilian died of sustained injuries.

On Tuesday, one civilian was killed and five of his family members injured as an indiscriminate shell fired by Khalifa Haftar’s militias fell on Salah Al-Deen in southern Tripoli, the media adviser said.

Al-Hashimi added that the body arrived late on Tuesday in Tripoli University Hospital with a severed head due to the random shelling.

He also told Libya Alahrar TV that a field medical team came under fire as they tried to take care of the injured people near Diabetes Hospital in Salah Al-Deen.

Meanwhile, Burkan Al-Ghadab Operation under the Government of National Accord’s command said Haftar’s militias had targeted Salah Al-Deen with six rockets in a new breach of the ceasefire.
