Tebboune says Libyan parties have accepted Algeria’s mediation for political solution

The Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said Saturday that the Libyan conflict parties had voiced readiness to accept Algeria’s mediation to find a solution to the Libyan crisis, adding that his country is the only party that can gather all the warring parties together because it is unbiased.

The Algerian President told reporters that Tripoli is a red line and that is why if it had fallen to Haftar, a civil war would have broken and led to the collapse of the state.

Tebboune said that the goal of Algeria is to save Libyans from bloodshed and protect the borders, adding that there is no military solution for the crisis in Libya.
