The Libyan capital, Tripoli, has seen military reinforcements of certain armed brigades in a number of areas, including in South Tripoli, Bab Benghashir, and Al-Zawiya Street, in addition to blocking main roads with sand berms in Ain Zara.
Eyewitnesses from Ain Zara said there is a heavy military reinforcement and blocking of roads with sand berms in the area in South Tripoli, in addition to military deployment in Sidra and Shouk Road, near Salah Al-Deen.
In the meantime, Tripoli University suspended lectures and asked all students and staff to leave due to the heavy military presence around the university. Schools in Ain Zara also dismissed students and teachers home.
