The HCS urges convergence of views between the parties to the political crisis

The High Council of State (HCS) has stressed the need to make more efforts to bring viewpoints closer between the Libyan parties under UN and international support.

The Council’s press office added that the 99th session, which was held on Wednesday emphasized the importance of working on a unified constitution that is acceptable to all, and with which fair and just elections can be implemented that meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.

The HCS commissioned the National Security and Human Rights and Freedoms Committees to follow up on the file of migrants in Kufra and the southern region as a result of the armed conflict in Sudan, and to submit a report on the situation to take appropriate measures, in addition to assigning the relevant committee to follow up on the implementation of decisions and regulations regarding the use of foreign workers.
