The Indian Embassy is to return to Tripoli

The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced its intention to reopen the Indian Embassy in Tripoli in the near future.

This came during discussions between a delegation from the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by its Undersecretary, Muhammad Issa, with representatives of the Indian Foreign Ministry.

Discussions also focused on the importance of activating the agreements and cooperative frameworks signed between the two sides.

The discussions dealt with improving bilateral relations, while the Indian side stressed the great importance that New Delhi attaches to its relations with Libya. Moreover, the Indian side urged the facilitation of the entrance of Indian workers into Libya.
