The Italian Minister of Industry arrives in Tripoli

The Italian Nova Agency has confirmed that the Italian Minister of Industry, Adolfo Orso, is on a two-day visit to Libya as he arrived Monday evening, as part of the “Matti” plan, which includes strengthening Italian-Libyan relations in the fields of industry and technology.

During his visit, Orso will meet with Libyan ministers, including the Minister of Industry, Economy and Commerce, Mohamed Al-Hawaij, the Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abu Hissa, and the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi.

Orso will also be keynote speaker at the International Conference on Industry and Technology in Libya and will participate in the 50th session of the Tripoli International Exhibition, where more than 100 Italian companies will participate.

This visit comes only days after the visit of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to the capital, Tripoli.
