The Libyan Chambers of Commerce signs a new agreement with Russian counterpart

The General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

According to the Libyan Union of Chambers, the two parties agreed to commit to contributing to expanding communications between institutions, organizations, companies and businessmen between the two countries.

It was also agreed to exchange all information of common interest related to the economy and foreign trade in the markets of both countries.

The two sides agreed to provide assistance in organizing forums, conferences and meetings in the field of economy and trade, and to hold regular meetings to evaluate the agreed-upon measures and overcome obstacles that hinder the development of economic cooperation, and to consider current and future issues of bilateral cooperation.

For his part, the head of the General Union of Libyan Chambers, Muhammad Al-Raid, pointed out that Russian-Libyan relations have a long history and the Libyan delegation arrived in Moscow to give it new momentum, adding that there are many companies in Russia that can help revive the Libya economy, as business partners and investors.
