Top State Councils meet with Government Officials from the South

The Presidential Council and the High Council of State (HCS) held a meeting with the ministers and deputy ministers of the Government of National Unity (GNU) from the South.

The President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, and the two deputies of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni and Abdullah Al-Lafi, along with the President of the HCS, Mohammed Takala and his deputy, Masoud Obaid, met on Tuesday with ministers and deputies of the GNU from the Southern regions and cities, as well as a group of experts and advisors from the South.

The meeting was held to discuss the problems and difficulties that hinder the provision of services to the southern regions and ways to overcome them. The attendees discussed the importance of the South as the strategic depth of the country, in addition to giving priority to the Southern regions in completing service projects.

Moreover, the officials addressed the need to pay attention to service facilities and security institutions in the South to achieve stability that ensures the success of the national reconciliation project.
