Tripoli’s Mitiga Airport suspends flights after rocket attack by Haftar’s militias

Khalifa Haftar’s militias have targeted Tripoli’s Mitiga Airport with several rockets forcing it to announce temporary suspension of flights, according to Deputy Minister of Transportation Hisham Abu Shakiwat.

This renewed attack came on Thursday morning to add to previous attacks on the airport and its vicinity over the last two days, let alone Haftar militias’ attacks in civilian neighborhoods leading to killing and injuring people and causing massive damages.

Two days ago, one civilian was killed and two others were injured in Haftar militias’ attacks on Al-Hadba in southern Tripoli, while five other civilians had been wounded as two rockets fell on residential areas in Abu Salim on Monday.
