Tunisia, Egypt reiterates importance of holding Libya elections on time

The Tunisian President, Kais Saied, has called in a meeting with the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, for more coordination to resolve the Libyan crisis.

The Two presidents reiterated in a phone call their keenness on ending the Libyan crisis to pave the way for regaining security and stability by holding general elections on December 24 as per the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum’s roadmap.

Saied and Al-Sisi remarked that it was very vital that all foreign forces and mercenaries withdraw from Libya as per UN resolutions, according to the Egyptian presidency spokesperson.
