Turkey, Algeria say solution to Libya’s crisis is through national dialogue

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that there is a consensus between Turkey and Algeria regarding the achievement of lasting peace and stability in Libya.

These remarks came in a joint press conference with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra, following the first meeting of the joint Turkish-Algerian planning group.

Lamamra stressed the importance of the two parties’ agreement to support a Libyan solution and holding transparent elections that allow the Libyan people to exercise their right to choose their leadership.
