Turkish company signs contract to operate Tripoli International Fair for 10 years

The chairman of the Turkish group of companies, Noble, Orhan Çelik, said that his group had reached an agreement with the local authorities in Libya to operate the Tripoli International Fair for ten years.

Çelik said in a statement to the Turkish Anadolu Agency that this step is the first for the group in the Arab world, noting that Libya enjoys a strategic location for Turkey, as it is an open gateway to Africa.

He pointed out that his group representatives came to Libya at the invitation of the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Huweij.

He stressed that the agreement will be formally signed in the coming days. He explained that the Government of National Unity had decided to open the land of the Tripoli International Fair for operation, which was proposed by Minister Al-Huweij, before reaching an agreement between the two sides.
