The Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, said if the UAE, Egypt, France, Russia, and Saudi Arabia didn’t cease their support to warlord Khalifa Haftar, there can be no stability in Libya.
Akar said, speaking to Al Jazeera, that those countries should resolve the issue of Sirte and Jufra and stop Haftar’s coup agenda in the country.
He also said that Egypt should stay away from statements that undermine stability and pace in Libya, adding that the UAE had committed harm in Syria and Libya and that it would be held accountable in the right time and place.
