The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has indicated that the only solution after the consolidation of the ceasefire is the political solution.
Cavusoglu added in a joint presser with the German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas on the sidelines of Munich conference that Turkey and Germany will work on consolidating a permanent ceasefire in Libya.
The Turkish foreign Minister also added that together with Germany, Turkey will push forward the political process in Libya as the only solution to the crisis.
“The violations of Khalifa Haftar’s militias constitute a threat on the ground. Their attacks on civilians in Tripoli must be stopped.” Cavusoglu explained.
