Turkey’s National Defense Ministry said on Twitter that a Turkish-made robot was used to safely detonate improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and destroy ammunition in Libya.
According to the tweets, bomb squad teams effectively used the TMR 2 (Kutlu) for safe disposal of the dangerous material in the southern region of the Libyan capital Tripoli.
Haftar’s militias and the mercenaries from the Russian Wagner Group, Sudanese Janjaweed and other groups have implanted mines and IEDs in southern Tripoli areas after they have been defeated by the forces under the command of the Government of National Accord.
