Two new mass graves unearthed in Libya’s Tarhouna

Two new mass graves has been unearthed in Tarhouna at the (5 Kilometers) project area, according to the teams of the General Authority for Finding and Identifying the Missing Persons.

The Authority added that the teams started digging out the bodies found in the two mass graves to add them to the tens of bodies that had been dug out over the last months since the defeat and retreat of Khalifa Haftar and Al-Kani militias from the city.

Al-Kani (Al-Kaniyat) militias have been sanctioned by the United States and European Union and have been implicated in United Nations reports for committing crimes, massacres and other atrocities that amounted to war crimes and crimes against humanity.
