Two new mass graves unearthed in Libya’s Tarhuna

The director of the media office of the authority of finding the missing Abdelaziz Al-Jaafari has announced unearthing two new locations of mass graves in Tarhuna.

Al-Jaafari told Libya Alahrar that the teams of the authority had been working on recovering the bodies and remains from the mass graves, saying the numbers would be announced afterwards.

Last month, the authority recovered 12 bodies from five newly discovered mass graves in Mashroa Rabet area in Tarhuna.

The authority said the remains of the bodies were recovered by the teams tasked for depicting, unearthing and identifying mass graves in Tarhuna, where Haftar’s militias and their affiliated Al-Kani militias were located.
