Itamilradar website, which is specialized in monitoring military aircraft, has depicted and tracked a United Arab Emirates Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster in flight over western Egypt before entering into Libyan airspace.
When the UAE Globemaster entered Libya and afterwards, the callsign was changed, then after some minutes the aircraft disappeared from all tracking site, the website revealed.
It added that it doesn’t know the final destination of the UAE’s aircraft flight, but it was probably an eastern Libyan airfield.
It is worth mentioning that the UAE is running an airbase in eastern Libya (Al-Khadim Airbase) in which it operates different missions for Khalifa Haftar’s forces, including drone attacks, according to UN and international reports.
