The embassy of the United States in Libya has called on the Libyan warring parties to immediately halt hostilities and set their differences aside so they can focus efforts on boosting healthcare for all Libyans amid the outbreak of Coronavirus.
In a statement on Friday, the US embassy in Libya said it was very important that economic institutions in the country get unified to take necessary financial measures to respond to the crisis.
The US embassy added that it was ready to provide assistance to all Libyan parties in order to undermine the risks of the Coronavirus pandemic and to limit its spread in Libya.
