US, France discuss political solution in Libya

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian have discussed deescalation in Libya and the need for resuming the political process to solve the conflict.

The spokeswoman for the US State Department Morgan Ortagus said the two officials had reviewed cooperation and more solidarity among the member states of NATO.

Pompeo and Le Drian discussed coordinating efforts to support stability and security in Sahel region and to assist the efforts at the UN to boost security and health worldwide.
