US President calls for addressing political stalemate in Libya

The US President, Joe Biden, said his administration was facing many challenges in the region, such as the political stalemate in Libya, the Iranian nuclear file, and the Syrian war, saying that these issues must be addressed.

Biden confirmed in an article published by the Washington Post on Saturday, in which he talked about the reason for his intention to visit Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, that he would make clear to the leaders of the region how important it is to make progress in those files, including the Libyan political deadlock.

The US President added that a more secure and integrated Middle East would benefit Americans, stressing the importance of the vital energy resources that the region enjoys to reduce the impact of the Russian war in Ukraine on global supplies.
