Dbeibah renews his support for Batelli’s initiative and condemns the ongoing aggression against Gaza

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, renewed his support for the initiative of the UN envoy Abdullah Bathily without any reservations.

This came during a meeting held with the ambassadors of Islamic, Arab and African countries accredited to Libya.
Dbeibah renewed his condemnation of what is happening in Gaza, affirming his firm position in support of the Palestinian cause, stressing the necessity of developing a solution for the situation and utilizing all opportunities to achieve this aim.

The Prime Minister stated that the government wants to follow up on Libya’s investments, especially in Africa, “which was subjected to infringement by exploiting the political vacuum that the Libyan state went through, as part of these investments were sold at irrational prices and in illegal ways.”

Dbeibah called on all parties to work together to ease restrictions on the movement of citizens, stressing that they are ready to cooperate regarding this matter so that the attending countries would issue their visas from within Libya.
