34 LPDF members call for emergency meeting

34 members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) have called for an emergency session to discuss the constitutional basis and legal legislations for elections, which are supposed to be held on December 24.

The LPDF members also urged for the session to be held in order to agree on the mechanism for naming the personalities to occupy state sovereign positions.

“We’ll also look into and evaluate the performance of the interim executive authority – Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity – in the last six months as per the roadmap.” LPDF members said in a statement.
