AGOCO adds 2000 bpd to Nafoura oilfield’s capacity

Libya’s Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has announced the successful mechanical connection of a newly drilled well in the Nafoura oilfield, increasing production capacity by approximately 2,000 barrels of oil per day.

This addition is part of AGOCO’s broader strategy to boost production across its portfolio, with plans to connect 16 additional wells.

AGOCO said these projects will involve both mechanical and electrical integration, aimed at enhancing production capacity and ensuring operational efficiency.

“This development aligns with the government’s objective to raise oil production to two million barrels per day by 2026.” AGOCO added.
