EMSC: Severe injury cases of Tripoli clashes are to receive treatment abroad

The Emergency Medical Support Center (EMSC) has reported that injury cases that were classified as severe, following the fighting in Tripoli, are being transported abroad in order to receive further advanced treatment.

The center clarified, in a public statement, that 12 wounded individuals were flown out by air ambulance so far, after their health condition became stable and were allowed to travel to complete their treatment.

The center added that two other cases were transported to Tunisia by ground ambulance, where they will be hospitalized there.

The center’s spokesman, Malek Marsit, had informed Libya Alahrar previously that the preliminary number of the victims of the recent clashes, amounted to 45 deaths and 146 injuries.
