Former Libyan Prime Minister Mahmoud Jebril dies of COVID-19 in Egypt

The Head of the Libyan National Forces Alliance Mahmoud Jebril has died at the age 68 after contracting COVID-19 in Egypt, where he has been living with his family.

Jebril’s National Forces Alliance Party announced he was hospitalized after suffering from Coronavirus symptoms in Cairo 10 days ago.

Jebril was appointed the Prime Minister of the Libyan Transitional Council during February 17 revolution from March 05 to October 23, 2011.

Egypt has so far announced over 1000 Coronavirus cases, 71 of whom had died and 24 recovered.
