The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) announced the launching of the second phase of municipal councils’ elections in 63 municipalities.
The HNEC called on all partners and stakeholders in the country to contribute to the success of the implementation of the second group of municipal elections.
The HNEC said that the municipalities targeted by the elections include 13 in the east, nine in the south and 41 in the western region. The HNEC added that the number of polling stations is 1147 and polling stations 4210 in the second group.
