Reliable sources have confirmed to Libya Alahrar TV that both Libyan and Qatari Interior Ministries an MoU in security cooperation.
The signing of the MoU came on a visit by the Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha and Foreign Minister Mohammed Sayala to Doha on Monday.
The MoU sees Libya and Qatar cooperating in fighting terrorism. Money laundering, and drugs.
In the meantime, Bashagha and Sayala discussed in Doha with the Emir of Qatar Tamim Al Thani mechanisms of developing relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The Libyan officials of the Government of National Accord (GNA) and Qatar’s Emir also discussed the ongoing developments on the political scene and on the ground in Libya.
