The Ministry of Justice of the Government of National Unity denied on Monday the issuance of any decisions regarding the release of Abdullah Al-Senussi – Gaddafi regime’s Chief of Intelligence.
The Ministry described on its Facebook page what was being circulated on social media in this regard as misleading information, and it clarified that Al-Senussi was appearing before the judiciary, and he was still detained and undergoing trial.
The Ministry called on all media outlets to follow the official media platforms affiliated with the Ministry of Justice or all components of the judiciary to follow any news related to the course of justice and all matters related to any case before the Libyan judiciary.
Earlier, the lawyer for the families of the victims of Abu Salim prison, Fathi Terbil, revealed to local media, citing sources he described as reliable, that a permit will be signed to release Al-Senussi for health reasons.
