The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah met in his office in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, with the visiting chief of Turkish intelligence agency, Hakan Fidan, and they discussed files of joint interest as well as local, regional and international developments.
Fidan also met with the Head of the High Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri, who reiterated the importance of bilateral relations and the need to boost them in all fields.
The Turkish spy chief expressed Ankara’s keenness to develop relations with Libya and reiterated their unwavering support for political efforts aiming at finding a solution to the crisis and prevailing stability in Libya.
Fidan arrived in Libya just five days after the CIA Director William Burns had landed in the country to meet with Dbeibah.
