The spokesman for the Sirte-Jufra Operations Room Abdelhadi Drah has indicated that warplanes are flying over southern Abu Grein area near Sirte.
Drah denied Wednesday to reporters that any of the Russian Wagner Group mercenaries had withdrawn from Sirte or Jufra.
The spokesman of the Sirte-Jufra Operations Room remarked that a new military cargo plane had also touched down in Jufra airbase, where Russian mercenaries and Haftar’s militias are currently based.
In the meantime, Sirte-Jufra Operations Room said two days ago that two Ilyushin cargo planes had landed in Labreg airport in eastern Libya coming from Syria’s Lattakia airport.
