Libyan Airlines resumes its flights to Sebha Airport

Sebha Airport Director, Taher Al-Bousaifi, confirmed the resumption of Libyan Airlines flights from Mitiga and Benina airports to Sebha, with one flight per week.

Al-Bousaifi indicated in statements to Libya Al-Ahrar that there are contacts with other airlines to resume their flights to and from Sebha Airport, saying that the frequency of flights has increased by 60% since the beginning of this year compared to the year 2023.

Al-Bousaifi added that the airport is ready in terms of security and special equipment to receive international flights to Egypt and Tunisia soon.

Al-Busifi explained that they are working to enhance safety procedures despite their ongoing need to develop infrastructure and conduct regular maintenance.
