5+5 JMC agrees on emergency plan to remove all mercenaries

The 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) delegations have agreed on measures to remove foreign forces and mercenaries without exceptions as soon as possible.

After a new round of talks in Sirte on Saturday in the presence of the UN Support Mission in Libya as well as subcommittees’ commanders, the 5+5 JMC asked the Presidential Council to freeze all agreements and MoUs of military nature with all counties.

The 5+5 JMC has also called for swift approval of the constitutional basis so Libyans can elect their leadership on December 24, urging for appointing a Defense Minister and boosting security arrangements on the coastal road.
