Dbeibah orders the establishment of drug warehouses in Tripoli, Benghazi and Sebha

Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah, stressed the need to complete public tender procedures, provide general and specialized medicines and oncology medicines, and address the loss of medicines not included in the public tender by including them in the tender items.

During a meeting with the medical supply agency, Dbeibah urged the system to be installed in all main and subsidiary stores and that activities should only be carried out through this system. He instructed follow-up on distributing medicines from the subsidiary stores to hospitals and patients, and to ensure that services reach those who need them.

Dbeibah stressed the necessity of establishing relevant warehouses in Tripoli, Sebha and Benghazi according to the latest specifications.

For his part, the Head of the Cancer Control Authority, Haider Al-Sayeh, confirmed the launch of the Muhareb card for 7,800 patients, and the continuation of efforts to issue cards to the rest of the patients.

Al-Sayeh pointed out the complete localization of radiotherapy through the centers in Sabratha, Benghazi, Misrata, and Tripoli, in addition to launching an early detection campaign at the beginning of next April.

Al-Sayeh also reflected on the coordination between the Public Tender Committee and the Medical Supply Agency to distribute oncology medications, which requires the patient to obtain a Muhareb card.
